SUBJECT:      WATER LINE BREAK / LIMITED 48-HOUR BOIL ORDER

RELEASE:     IMMEDIATE

The City of St. Clairsville has issued a 48-HOUR BOIL ORDER beginning at 3:30 P.M. for drinking water and cooking purposes for residents and businesses on the following streets ONLY:

• Along Newell Avenue from North Market Street (4-way stop) to 174 Newell Avenue;
• from Newell Avenue along North Marietta Street; and
• a portion of North Butler Street and Jepson Avenue (only residents without water).

An unexpected water line break has caused this advisory.  Residents may experience discoloration due to the water line break and repair.  Any other utility customer who may have experienced water loss today in this vicinity also should comply with the boil order.
