BOIL ORDER NOTICE 6.17.24

Effective June 17th, 2024, at 4:10 PM, a 48 Hour Boil Order is in effect for the following residents:

On West Main Street addresses numbered 198, 198 ½, 204, 210, 212, and 218.

On South Butler Street addresses numbered 112, 114, 116, 117, and 118.

On Woodrow Avenue addresses numbered 181, 183, 184, 184 ½, 185, 186, and 190.

On South Marietta Street address number 100 and 110.

And on St. Patrick’s Alley address number 102.

PLANNED POWER OUTAGE-PARK DRIVE-6.18.24

Necessary electric line work will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, starting around 9 AM on Park Drive.

During the necessary work, the following addresses will experience power outages.

On Park Drive houses numbered 112 through and including 124.

It is estimated that this work will last for 2 to 3 hours.

Please note that if there is inclement weather tomorrow, June 18th, then the electric work will then take place on Thursday, June 20th.

WATER LINE TIE IN WORK-6.17.24-SOUTH BUTLER

Water line tie – in work will start in the area of South Butler Street on the morning of Monday, June 17th, 2024, around 8 AM. This work is part of the City’s Water Line Replacement Project.

Resident’s may experience water loss, discoloration, and pressure issues. If you experience water loss, please note that once water is restored, there will be a 48 Hour Boil Order in effect.

Addresses that are affected are:

On West Main Street addresses numbered 170, 198, 198 ½, 204, 210, 212, and 218.

On South Butler Street addresses numbered 112, 114, 116, 117, and 118.

On Woodrow Avenue addresses numbered 181, 183, 184, 184 ½, 185, 186, and 190.

On South Marietta Street address number 110.

And on St. Patrick’s Alley address number 102.

Surrounding areas may experience pressure issues and water loss if there are valve failures.

EXCAVATION AND WATER LINE REPLACEMENT WORK-6.17.2024

Excavation and water line replacement work will begin in your area on or around Monday, June 17th, 2024. Tap replacement work will follow at a later date. This work is part of the City’s Water Line Replacement Project.

Addresses that are affected:

On Woodrow Avenue addresses 101, 101 ½, 103, 105, 107, 109, 111, and 201.

And on South Sugar Street addresses 107, 107 ½, 110, 110 ½, 112, 114, 116, 120, and 126.

During this time, parking will be prohibited on South Sugar Street.

As this project progresses, residents may experience periodic traffic in the neighborhood, and no “on street” parking to allow the contractor to perform the needed work.

During this period, the contractor will cooperate with the residents to provide temporary access to existing driveways.

Sidewalks, streets, yards, etc., will be restored after completion of the work.
