2025 EPA MANDATED “SMOKE TESTING” – WARD 3

Attention residents of Ward 3 in St. Clairsville! The EPA has mandated “smoke testing” to check the sanitary sewer lines in your area. This test will begin on Monday, May 19th, and will continue over the next two weeks or until completion.

During the tests, you may see smoke-like vapor coming from building vents or appearing from holes in the ground. Please do not be alarmed—this is not smoke but a vapor. This vapor is odorless, safe to breathe, will not stain any surfaces, does not pose a fire risk, and will dissipate quickly.
