Oil & Gas Bids Accepted — Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of St. Clairsville for leasing the rights to extract oil, natural gas, and any constituents from lands owned by the City of St. Clairsville.  The City holds the deed to approximately 11.086 total acres (in 7 parcels) in the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.  Bids will be accepted at the office of the Director of Public Service/Safety at 100 N. Market St. until March 28th, 2025 at Noon at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Proposals may be mailed to DOPS, City of St. Clairsville, Box 537, St. Clairsville, OH 43950.  All bids are to be submitted in an envelope marked “City of St. Clairsville Oil & Gas Lease” on the exterior.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals at its sole discretion and is under no obligation to enter into a lease agreement with anyone submitting a bid in response to this request.

Spring Park Paving Project Separate sealed bids for 2025 Street Paving will be received by the City of St. Clairsville at the office of the Director of Public Service/Safety until 12:00 P. M., local time, on Friday, April 25th, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
             The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
            Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Proposals may be mailed to DOPS, City of St. Clairsville, Box 537, St. Clairsville, OH 43950. All bids are to be submitted in an envelope marked “City of St. Clairsville Spring Park Project” on the exterior.
            No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals at its sole discretion and is under no obligation to enter into an agreement with anyone submitting a bid in response to this request.

The Ohio Public Records Act (“Sunshine Law”) requires that government agencies preserve public records regardless of physical form, including electronic records. It also applies this requirement to every public office, officer, official, and institution. The City of St. Clairsville has its own records retention policy.
