AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH NEW REVENUE AND APPROPRIATION ACCOUNTS FOR THE POLICE FUND #2901 FOR K9 OPERATIONS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio:
WHEREAS, the City Council chooses to establish a new revenue and appropriation account line items for the receiving and expending of funds received from donations for the use of a K9 dog.
Section 1: That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director of the City of St. Clairsville to establish and appropriate for the receiving and expending of funds received from donations for the use of a K9 dog as follows:
2091-110-600-0000 Other – $20,000.00
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety of the residents of the City, so that the City can maintain normal operations.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
