24-hour Boil Order in limited area of downtown effective 7 AM, July 3

The City of St. Clairsville reports an unexpected water line break located in St. Patrick’s Alley late yesterday.  Water service has been restored.  Beginning at 7 A. M. on Friday, July 3, a 24-hour BOIL ORDER has been imposed for the area contained within the following streets ONLY:

South Butler Street to State Route 9 (Marietta Street), and

Woodrow Avenue to U.S. Route 40 (West Main Street).

This break can cause loss of water, pressure differences and/or discoloration in this vicinity. 

The Municipal Building is closed today in observance of the Independence Day federal holiday.  The after-hours Municipal Utilities Office answering service can be reached by dialing 740-695-1410.
