RE:                Limited 48-Hour Boil Order

DATE:           May 27, 2021

EFFECTIVE:  IMMEDIATE

Once water service is restored, a 48-Hour Limited Boil Order will be in effect for City of St. Clairsville residents in the vicinity of Young Lane.  Specifically, the impacted customers are expected to be the residents at:

199, 205, 211, 214, 215, 217 and 219 Young Lane, and

the units at 216 and 218 Young Lane.

The entire old fairgrounds area, including the J. B. Martin Recreation-Senior Center, and the Elementary School Maintenance Garage are included in the impacted facilities.

The boil order is needed due to an unexpected water line break at Young Lane this morning.  City crews are in the process of working to restore water service.

Residents may experience discoloration due to the water line break and repair.  Any other utility customer who may experience water loss today in this vicinity also should comply with the boil order.

If questions, please call the Municipal Utilities Office on 740-695-1410.  Thank you.
