_________________________________________________________
The installation of a temporary water line has been completed. Effective at 6 A. M. on August 27, a 48-Hour Boil Order is in effect for all residents within the corporation limits of the City of St. Clairsville. This boil order also applies to any nearby homes which receive their tap water from the City rather than Belmont County. Residents may experience temporary pressure issues and/or discoloration of the water due to this project.
A Code Red has been issued to notify the residents of the completion of the work and the start of the 48-Hour Boil Order. City residents are encouraged to sign up for the county’s Code Red alert system if they have not already done so: https://stclairsville.com/2020/02/04/sign-up-for-belmont-county-911-code-red/.
Please contact the City’s Municipal Utilities Office (740-695-1410) if you have questions or need any additional information. This office is open from 8:30 – 4:30 on Monday through Friday, except on federal holidays. When the office is closed, an answering service is available to receive messages and/or provide answers when possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as the City continues its work to make necessary improvements to our water distribution system.
