SUBJECT:         Power Outage Update

RELEASE:         IMMEDIATE

The City of St. Clairsville reports that all power has been restored to residents on the east side of the City.  A few residences on the west side of the City still are without power, however, City crews expect electric service to be restored to all residences yet this evening.

The City of St. Clairsville now has answering service to answer after-hours utility-related phone calls.  The Municipal Utilities Office’s phone line (740-695-1410) is being used for this new service.

Residents are urged to call 740-695-1410 after-hours only for water or sewer disruptions, or electricity outages.  This is a reminder that these three services are the only utilities which are provided by the City of St. Clairsville.

The answering service will take brief utility-disruption messages which will be given to the administration for action.  The answering service is being provided for residents’ convenience on 740-695-1410.

M. and 4:30 P. M. weekdays, except on federal holidays).  Thank you.
