Beginning as soon as water service is restored, the City of St. Clairsville has issued a 24-HOUR BOIL ORDER for drinking water and cooking purposes for residents on the following streets ONLY:

South Butler Street

Woodrow Avenue west of South Marietta Street

South Marietta Street at Woodrow Avenue

This would also include any homes or businesses in the surrounding areas mentioned above who experienced a loss of water this afternoon.

An unexpected water line repair has caused this advisory. At this time, the City is anticipating a three-hour water outage. Residents also may experience discoloration and temporary loss of water pressure for the following two to three days due to the repair.

The City of St. Clairsville’s Electric Department announces a scheduled power outage due to system maintenance. This limited area outage will take place on Tuesday, March 26th, from 9 A.M. until 3 P.M.

Limited Area – Scheduled Power Outage – Thursday, Aug 9th, 2018

There is an electric outage scheduled for Thursday, August 9th.  It will begin at 8am, and electricity is anticipated to be restored by 12pm.  Streets that are involved include S. Marietta Street, High Street, Taylor Lane, Efaw Avenue, Linda Drive, and Hanson Drive.

This outage will impact the following addresses:

  • 100 High Street
  • 194 – 226 and 238 S. Marietta Street
  • 103 – 120 Taylor Lane
  • 100 – 118 Linda Drive
  • 105 – 120 Hanson Drive
  • 102 – 103 Sunset Heights
  • 98, 101, 233 Efaw Avenue

Boil Order

BOIL ORDER

Effective IMMEDIATELY (updated at 4:00 P. M.), residents and businesses along West Main Street from North Butler Street up to the Plaza West area of the City of St. Clairsville are advised of a 48-HOUR BOIL ORDER.  Residents and businesses impacted are those which lost water service entirely on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.  These City water customers also may experience possible discoloration.

WATER OUTAGE / BOIL ORDER

There will be a hydrant replacement today, July 24th, on West Main Street.  This will cause temporary and intermittent water loss to customers on West Main Street from North Butler Street to Riesbeck’s.  Once water is restored completely, the affected customers will be under a 48-hour boil order.
