COUNCIL MINUTES

July 10, 2017

St. Clairsville City Council met in Mayor Pugh’s Office Monday, July 10, 2017 at 8:30 a.m., with the following present:

Jim Weisgerber, Council President Terry Pugh, Mayor

Mark Bukmir, Council 3^rd Ward

Linda Jordan, Council-At-Large

Beth Oprisch, Council-At-Large

Jake Olsavsky, Council, 1^st Ward

Mike Smith, Council-At-Large

John Tomlan, Council 4^th Ward

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pugh

MINUTES

This Special Meeting was called to address the budget for the City of St. Clairsville for calendar year 2018.

Mayor Pugh presented the Ordinance for the 2018 Budget which was prepared by Cindi Henry, Finance Director. He explained that the Ordinance needed to be passed today in order to file the 2018 Budget with the Belmont County Auditor.

There was presented and read to Council on its first reading by title only; ORDINANCE NO. 2017-38, AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2018, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

John Tomlan moved that the rules requiring ordinance and resolutions to be read on three separate readings be suspended and declaring an emergency; Beth Oprisch seconded the motion.

Roll Call Vote: Six (6) Yes Zero (0) No Motion Approved

There was presented and read to Council on its third and final reading by title only, ORDINANCE NO. 2017-38. A motion was made by Linda Jordan and seconded by Jake Olsavsky that Ordinance NO. 2017-38 be passed by Council.
