AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE FINAL PLAT OF THE
ST. CLAIR COMMONS SUBDIVISION TO THE
CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission for the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio, has approved the final plat of the St. Clair Commons Subdivision in the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and has issued its recommendation to Council that said plat be approved;
WHEREAS, Council for the City of St. Clairsville intends, by the adoption of this ordinance, to accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission for the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio and thereby approves the final plat of the St. Clair Commons Subdivision to the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
Section 1: That the final plat of the St. Clair Commons Subdivision in the City of St. Clairsville, Belmont County, Ohio, be and the same is hereby approved and accepted (see attached plat).
Section 2: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, welfare and the safety of the residents of the City of St. Clairsville so that the St. Clair Commons project may proceed in an orderly fashion.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
PASSED at a meeting of the Council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 9th day of April, 2018, by the affirmative vote of 6 members of the council.
