A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF 1.247 ACRES IN RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, OHIO
WHEREAS, the annexation of 1.247 acres having been approved by the Belmont County Commissioners and submitted to the City Finance Director; and
WHEREAS, a period of sixty (60) days having passed and the City Finance Director having laid the appropriate materials out before Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
Section 1: That pursuant to Ohio Revised Code §709.04, that the annexation is hereby accepted. The Finance Director is hereby directed to comply with Ohio Revised Code § 709.06 by making three (3) copies of the annexation document, certifying that each such copy is correct, and forwarding such copies to the Auditor, Recorder and Secretary of State.
Section 2: This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
PASSED at a meeting of the council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 16th day of April, 2018, by the affirmative vote 6 members of council.
