RESOLUTION NUMBER 2019 – 24
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, TO APPLY FOR, ACCEPT, AND ENTER INTO A WATER SUPPLY REVOLVING LOAN ACCOUNT AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW RESERVOIR.
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of St. Clairsville intends to apply for a Supplemental Loan through Ohio EPA Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA) for construction of said reservoir improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Ohio EPA Water Supply Revolving Loan Account requires the government authority to pass legislation of a loan and the execution of an agreement; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor of the City of St. Clairsville;
SECTION 1. That the Mayor of the City of St. Clairsville is hereby authorized to apply for a Supplemental WSRLA loan with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Water Development Authority for construction of reservoir improvements on behalf of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
SECTION 2. That the dedicated source of repayment will be water customer usage charges.
SECTION 3. That this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
