AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH THE EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL
JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND #2051 (FEDERAL)
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio:
WHEREAS, the City Council chooses to establish a new fund and associated revenue and expenditure codes necessary for the receiving and expending of funds received from Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services for the purchase of PC’s for Police Cruisers.
Section 1: That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director of the City of St. Clairsville to establish the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Fund; to establish the necessary Revenue and Appropriations Accounts to the said FUND #2051 and Appropriate the amount of eight thousand three hundred twenty five (8,325.00) dollars as follows:
General Fund 1000-920-920-000 Advances out
Federal Grant Fund 2051-920-920-0000 Advances In
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety of the residents of the City, so that the City can maintain normal operations.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
