Effective 3:15 P. M. on Tuesday, a limited 48-Hour Boil Order in effect for certain residents in Ward 2

Beginning at 3:15 P.M. on March 2, a 48-hour Boil Order is in effect for City residents in the vicinity of Dennis Lane due to a water line break there earlier today.  The water may appear to be dirty in the short run according to the City crew which repaired the break.  Officials believe residents impacted by the service disruption are limited to the homes on:  Dennis Lane; north and south of Dennis Lane on South Sugar Street; and likely the homes near the intersection of South Sugar Street and High Street.  If residents experienced any water loss earlier today, they are advised to follow the 48-hour Boil Order from the time water is restored.
