ORDINANCE NUMBER 2021-3
AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE INTERFUND TRANSFERS AND REALLOCATIONS WITHIN THE FUNDS FOR THE NORMAL EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, STATE OF OHIO, FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2021 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
SECTION 1: That to provide for the normal expenses and other expenditures of the said City of St. Clairsville, Ohio, for the period January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021, the attached line item transfers are required:
Transfer of $200,000 from 1000-910-910-0000 (Trans Out) to 2041-931-0000 (Trans In)
Transfer of $400,000 from 1000-910-910-0000 (Trans Out) to 2901-931-0000 (Trans In)
Transfer of $345,950 from 1000-910-910-0000 (Trans Out) to 2011-931-0000 (Trans In)
Transfer of $90,200 from 5101-910-910-0000 (Trans Out) to 5721-931-0000 (Trans In)
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and economic well being of the residents of the City, so that the City can maintain normal financial operations.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
PASSED at a meeting of the Council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 1st day of March, 2021, by the affirmative vote of 7 members of the council.
