48-Hour Boil Order in place for a limited number of homes on Walnut Ave. and East Lawn

FR:                    City of St. Clairsville

RE:                    Limited 48-HOUR BOIL ORDER

DATE:               July 26, 2021

EFFECTIVE:      IMMEDIATE        

Beginning at 2 P. M. on Sunday, July 25, 2021, a limited 48-HOUR BOIL ORDER is in effect for City of St. Clairsville residents in the vicinity of Walnut Avenue.  Specifically, the impacted customers are the residents at:

132, 134, 136, 138, 140, and 142 Walnut Avenue; and

133 East Lawn.

The boil order will end on Tuesday, July 27, at 2 P. M.  The boil order is needed due to an unexpected water line break around Walnut Avenue early on Sunday, the 25th.  The City acted quickly to repair the break and restore water service.

Residents may experience discoloration due to the water line break and repair.  Any other utility customer who may have experienced water loss Sunday A. M. in this vicinity also should comply with the boil order.
