ORDINANCE 2021-20
AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE NORMAL EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, STATE OF OHIO, FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2021 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
SECTION 1: That to provide for the normal expenses and other expenditures of the said City of St. Clairsville, Ohio, for the period January 1, 2021 through December 1, 2021, the following appropriations:
Community Housing Improvement Program
2909-420-390-0000 (Other Contract Services) – $93,825.52
Downtown Renovation
2911-420-690-0000 (Other-Other) – $113,313.14
Revolving Loan
2912-420-600-0000 (Other) – $107,586.92
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of St. Clairsville so that the City can maintain normal operations.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
PASSED at a meeting of the Council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 2nd day of August, 2021, by the affirmative vote of 7 members of the council.
