AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT FUND #2152 ALONG WITH THE NECESSARY REVENUE ACCOUNTS AND NECESSARY APPROPRIATIONS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of St. Clairsville chooses to establish a new fund and associated revenue and expenditure codes necessary for the receiving and expending of purchases made from the Corona Relief Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
SECTION 1: City Council authorizes the Finance Director of the City of St. Clairsville to establish the American Recovery Act Fund #2152, a fund established to receive and expend said fund.
SECTION 2: That to provide for the normal expenditures of the American Rescue Plan Act Fund that said City of St. Clairsville, for the period of January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021, the following sum is hereby appropriated:
2152-790-300 (Contract Services) – $65,000.00
2152-790-325 (Advertising) – $2,000.00
2152-790-346 (Engineering Services) – $30,000.00
2152-790-392 (Building and Other Structures) – $30,000.00
2152-790-394 (Machinery, Equipment & Furniture) – $17,262.60
2152-790-400 (Supplies and Materials) – $125,000.00
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of St. Clairsville so that the City can maintain normal operations.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
