RE:                     Limited 48-Hour Boil Order beginning at 9 P. M. on Aug. 13 in vicinity of S. Sugar St.

Effective at 9 P. M. today, a limited 48-Hour Boil Order is in effect for City of St. Clairsville residents in the vicinity of South Sugar Street.  At this time, it is not known which residents are directly impacted by this unexpected waterline break.  City crews have restored water service.

Residents may experience discoloration and/or pressure issues due to this waterline break and subsequent repair.  Any other utility customer nearby who may have experienced water loss late this afternoon also should follow the 48-Hour Boil Order.
