ORDINANCE 2021-37
AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE
NORMAL EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY OF
ST. CLAIRSVILLE, STATE OF OHIO, FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2021
THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
SECTION 1: That to provide for the normal expenses and other expenditures of the said City of St. Clairsville, Ohio, for the period January 1, 2021 through December 1, 2021, the attached line item increases are required:

2011-620-211-0000 (OPERS) – $6,300.00
2011-620-213-0000 (Medicare) – $700.00

Corona Virus Relief Fund 2151
2151-790-3940-0000 (Machinery, Equipment & Furniture) – $16,142.03 (to repay Capital for touchless fixtures)

SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the City of St. Clairsville so that the City can maintain normal operations.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
PASSED at a meeting of the Council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 15th day of November, 2021, by the affirmative vote of 5 members of the council.
