RESOLUTION NO. 2022-7
A RESOLUTION MOVING THE TIME OF ALL REGULAR
COUNCIL MEETINGS FROM 7:30 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M.
WHEREAS, Council currently meets every first and third Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. to conduct its regular Council meetings pursuant to the Charter of the City of St. Clairsaville, Ohio ; and
WHEREAS, Council now desires to change the time of its regularly scheduled meetings held on the first and third Mondays of every month from 7:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
SECTION 1: That all regularly scheduled Council meetings held on the first and third Mondays of each month shall now begin at 7:00 p.m.
SECTION 2: Council retains the right to adjust the time of its regularly scheduled meetings in the future as Council so determines.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City St. Clairsville such that Council desires to change its meeting time for the convenience of the City and its residents.
SECTION 4: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
PASSED at a meeting of the Council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 7th day of March, 2022, by the affirmative vote of 7 members of council.
