Entrance to National Road Bikeway from upper plaza/parking area along U.S. 40 is temporarily closed

The City announces that the flights of stairs leading to the National Road Bikeway from the upper plaza and parking area at U.S. 40 are closed for repairs.  Since this entrance to the Bikeway at the north headwall of the rail/trail tunnel is closed, Bikeway users are encouraged to park in the lots at the north and south ends of the Bikeway or enter near “hub park” (gazebo area) at the midpoint of the Bikeway.  Thank you for your cooperation during this temporary closure of the stairs.
