National Road Bikeway closures on Wed. and Thurs. of this week

CAUTION: The north and south entrances to the NRBW tunnel (under U.S. 40) are closed Wednesday (June 15) for work related to the tunnel head and wing wall project.

CAUTION: The north and south entrances to the NRBW pedestrian bridge are closed on Thursday (June 16) for work related to the tunnel head and wing wall project.

City administrators ask National Road Bikeway (NRBW) users to be aware of crews from ms consultants (and/or its subcontractor) who will be surveying the land adjacent to the NRBW in advance of the ODOT-funded National Road Tunnel Rehab project. Although the actual work on this project is not anticipated to begin until the summer of 2024, these preliminary geotechnical and environmental steps are underway.
