City’s Electric Department has scheduled substation and system maintenance this weekend

SUBJECT:   SCHEDULED ELECTRIC MAINTENANCE

DATE:        JUNE 22, 2022

RELEASE:  IMMEDIATE

The City’s Electric Department has scheduled substation and system maintenance which will begin this Saturday (June 25) evening at midnight (12 P. M.).  The work is expected to be completed by 8 A. M. on Sunday, June 26.

The City does not anticipate that any residences or businesses will lose electric service during this time.  However, the Municipal Utilities Office asks that customers consider efforts to conserve electricity use during these limited hours.

If questions during normal business hours on Monday through Friday (8:30 A. M. – 4:30 P. M.), please call 740-695-1410 or 740-695-0156.  The Municipal Utilities Office has an after-hours answering service which can take calls when the City offices are closed.
