RE:                  Limited 48-Hour Boil Order

DATE:             August 15, 2022

________________________________________________

Effective at 1:10 A. M. on Aug. 16th, a limited 48-Hour Boil Order is in effect for City of St. Clairsville residents in the vicinity of Hutchinson Drive.

An unexpected water break occurred on Monday evening, August 15, around the area of 100 Hutchinson Drive.  The City was able to fix the break and restore water by 1:10 A. M. this morning.  Residences located between 100 and 120 Hutchinson Drive — as well as 190 Woodrow Avenue — experienced water loss during repairs and are now under a 48-Hour Boil Order.  Residents who have experienced water service disruption may also have water pressure issues and/or temporary discoloration now that the repair is completed.

Again, a 48-Hour Boil Order is in effect for certain residences on Hutchinson Drive, along with 190 Woodrow Avenue, AND any other customers who may have lost water service last evening.

If you have any questions, please contact the Utility Office at 740-695-1410 between 8:30 A. M. to 4:30 P. M. weekdays; after normal business hours, please leave a message with the answering service.  Thank you.
