ORDINANCE 2022-46

AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH THE PARKS AND RECREATION FUND – DONATIONS #2042, TO RECEIVE REVENUE FROM DONATIONS, MAKE ADDITIONAL PERMANENT APPROPRIATIONS, FOR THE NORMAL EXPENSES OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, STATE OF OHIO, FOR THE PERIOD OF JANUARY 1, 2022 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2022 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:

SECTION 1:  Authorizes the Finance Director of the City of St. Clairsville to establish the Parks and Recreation-Donations Fund; to establish the necessary Revenue and Appropriation Accounts.

SECTION 2:  That to provide for the normal receipts and expenditures of various funds that said City of St. Clairsville, for the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022, the following sums are hereby Received and Appropriated for the Parks and Recreation Fund – Donations 2042:

Revenue:                     2042-820-0000 (Donations) – $11,000.00

Appropriations:           2042-310-610-0000 (Other) – $11,000.00

SECTION 3:  This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, welfare, and safety for the City of St. Clairsville and its residents such that the City can maintain normal operations.

SECTION 4:  That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Ordinance 2022-46 was withdrawn at a meeting of the Council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 14th day of December, 2022.
