ORDINANCE 2023-14
AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE SUPPLEMENTAL REVENUE AND APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE NORMAL EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, STATE OF OHIO, FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2023 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2023 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
SECTION 1: That to provide for the normal expenses and other expenditures of the said City of St. Clairsville, Ohio, for the period January 1, 2023 through December 1, 2023, the following revenue and appropriations:
American Rescue Plan Act Fund
Revenue 2152-490-0000 (Other Intergovernmental) – 5,000,000.00
Appropriations 2152-800-300-0000 (Capital Outlay) – 5,000,000.00
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety of the residents of the City, so that the City can maintain normal operations.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
PASSED at a meeting of the Council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 15th day of May, 2023 by the affirmative vote of 7 members of the council.
