ORDINANCE NUMBER 2023 – 16
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 933.02 TO ESTABLISH SEWER RATES EFFECTIVE AT THE EARLIEST DATE DETERMINED BY LAW
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OHIO:
SECTION 1: That Codified Ordinance Section 933.02(b) is hereby amended to read as follows:
933.02(b) SEWER RATES; BILLING
(b) User Charges. Effective with the earliest date determined by law, the following water rates are hereby approved and established.
RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL SEWER RATES WITHIN CITY LIMITS

Accounts shall be payable at the Municipal Utility Office, or online, or drop box, on or before the twenty-third (23rd) day of the month in which the utility bill was mailed to the customer. If the account is not paid within the aforesaid time period, a late payment charge of ten percent (10%) shall be imposed.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by the Charter of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of St. Clairsville on this 20th day of June, 2023, by the affirmative vote of 4 members of the Council.
