Municipal Utilities Office’s After-Hours Answering Service for Utilities Disruptions

SUBJECT:      New Answering Service for Residents to Report After-Hours Utility Service Disruptions


Beginning on April 1, 2019, the City of St. Clairsville will use an answering service to answer after-hours utility-related phone calls.  The Municipal Utilities Office’s phone line (740-695-1410) is being used for this new service.

Residents are urged to call 740-695-1410 after hours only for water or sewer disruptions or electricity outages.  This is a reminder that these three services are the only utilities which are provided by the City of St. Clairsville.

The answering service will take brief utility-disruption messages which will be given to the Superintendent of General Services for action.  Again, the answering service is being provided for residents’ convenience on 740-695-1410.

When possible, City staff also will provide information on a timely basis on the City’s web site:  For questions, please call the Municipal Utilities Office on 740-695-1410 during normal business hours (8:30 A. M. and 4:30 P. M. weekdays, except on federal holidays).  Thank you.
